Tarong power stations and Meandu Mine 40th anniversary
Join us for a special celebration as we mark the 40th anniversary of Tarong power stations and Meandu Mine. This event will be held at Tarong Community Park, adjacent to Tarong power stations, located at Nanango Tarong Road, Tarong QLD, Australia from 9am to 2pm.
Get ready for a fun filled day with plenty of food, entertainment, historical displays, Wakka Wakka dancers, a jumping castle and bus tours of Tarong Power Stations and Meandu Mine.
Please note, due to the high volume of people, access to the Tarong Community Park will be by bus transport only.
Parking will be available at the Tarong Power Stations main carpark and other allotted carparking areas, to be managed by parking attendants.
Complimentary buses will be running from the carparking areas to the event from 9.00am to 12.30pm at 15 minute intervals.
RSVP by Tuesday 2 April. Please ensure you RSVP for all attendees when confirming your ticket. This event is for immediate family members only.
