5 day camping trip! We supply your tent, food and transport. You just need to enjoy the music. Pick up Brisbane & Gold Coast areas

We are off to the Tamworth Music Festival for 5 days of festival fun.

We have organised car transport picking up from Brisbane, Gold Coast & Tweed Heads leaving on Wednesday Morning and returning late Sunday night. If you are from further afield you can make your own way to Tamworth or we can collect you from Brisbane or Gold Coast Airports.

This is a CAMPING event.

We will supply your tent. Each person gets their own tent. You can share if your coming with a friend. Each tent is roomy and fits 2 with bags comfortably. You can stand up in your tent (unless you are a giant - then I don't know of of a tent that will contain your beastiness).

FOOD: We will supply your breakfast and dinner each day in camp. We cook great food and can cater to dietary needs.

Do you have a CAMPERVAN - if you want to come along in your own Campervan or hire your own van please contact us for a tag a long price. Our camp site will accomodate a certain number of Campervans (no power).

Run sheet:

• Arrive - Tamworth campsite at approx 6pm.
• Set up camp.
• We will be stopping along the way for a lunch break – not provisioned.
• Wednesday night we will set up camp and head out to a pub for some dinner - supplied.
• The camp kitchen will be operational for meals from Thursday morning (Day 2). Coffee, Tea, Water always available.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING THERE

Listening to Country Music, exploring all the events and attending some paid events. Drinking, eating good food, talking, wearing our cowboy hats and boots. Enjoying camp festival life.

We plan on attending two ticketed events. Our first choice is Casey Barnes Friday night at the Longyard. There are other big artists also preforming such as: Lee Kernagan, John Williamson, Kasey Chambers, The Wolfe Brothers, Troy Caser-Daley etc. Tickets for these events are not included in our trip cost as we are giving everyone flexibility to choose what performance you would like to see. Please note that tickets are on sale now and may sell out. Book now!

There is plenty of free entertainment all around the town at pubs and venues, you do not need to attend a ticketed event.

We hope we will travel as a group to all the events but you are welcome to head off on your own if there is a particular event you wish to attend. We will try to be accommodating with transport or advise onf alternative transport services around camp. If travelling to events with the group, your transport will be provided.

There is also the cavalcade down the main street on Saturday and several popular landmarks to visit like the Hands of fame.

The whole 5 days we are there is action packed.

ACCOMMODATION AND AMENITIES The campsite is very central to Tamworth. Facilities such as toilets and showers are provided but we will also have our own portable toilet and toilet ensuite which may be a lot more comfortable or convient.

Tent provided by us per person or couple or twin share. These tents you can stand up in and there is plenty of room for one or two people. An air mattress is also supplied.

We will be traveling in modern vehicles to Tamworth. Self-drive is only available if you are bringing your own campervans. Spaces limited – please advise if interested.

SAFETY

We will carry appropriate safety gear for this trip.

Extensive first aid kit, rescue plan, COVID19 Plan, iperb beacon, UHF two-way radios.

We will supply bulk natural spring water during the trip at base camp.

Please advise us of any medical issues before the trip that we should know about if you need medical attention.

WHAT TO BRING

We will send you a packing list. Sleeping bag, pillow, sheets, and blanket required. Head Torch. More items will be advised in the What to Bring Message.

MEALS

• Dinner will be provided – Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat.
• Breakfast will be provided Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun morning
• We do not provide lunch. We suggest you sample the festival food for lunch options, pub lunches, local café’s or bring your own.

We serve traditional camping meals and some gourmet type camping meals. You will love the food. Please advise if you have any specific dietary requirements when booking.

TRANSPORT AROUND THE FESTIVAL

There are hop on and hop off transport passes provided by us to you for use with the Festival Express Bus service between the venues, but we will also be helping with transport around the venues as well. If you stay up real late past 10pm it’s get your own way home if you are not with the group. Taxi, Uber, Bus.

• Tent Supplied $895.00pp. - We are expecting most people will camp.
