James Craig, 1874 is the feature vessel in the concerts Harbour lights Show and provide a great vantage point of the Foreshore concert.

Experience the iconic 2026 Australia Day Concert and Fireworks from the decks of Tall Ship, James Craig, 1874.

This year, Tall Ship James Craig, 1874 will be part of a breathtaking Harbour Concert.

Be part of it all and come aboard as James Craig features in a spectacular drones and lights parade, with a Fireworks display as the Finale.

The Australia Day Live Concert in Sydney features major Australian artists, with the 2026 lineup including Dragon, Ben Lee, Paulini, Sheppard, William Barton, Emma Pask, James Morrison, Clarissa Spata, Burn The Floor, and Sync Or Swim, plus the NSW Public Schools Choir, celebrating Australian spirit with music and dance on the Opera House Forecourt and broadcast on ABC TV/iview.

Event Information

  • Boarding 6.00pm at Wharf 7, 58 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont.
  • Depart 6.15pm
  • Disembark 9:30pm at Wharf 7, 58 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont.

Food and Beverage

Ticket includes Gourmet Grazing Box and Gelato. Tea and coffee. Alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and souvenir merchandise can be purchased onboard.

Australia Day Evening Concert Program

6.00 pm - Board

6.15pm - Depart for Harbour Cruise

7.30pm - Hold off Dawes Point to enjoy the foreshore court celebrations

7.50pm - 8.10pm Participate as feature vessel in the Australia Day Harbour Show (nationally televised)

8.20 pm - Australia Day Firework Celebrations

9.00pm - Participate as feature vessel in the final segment of the Australia Day Harbour Show (nationally televised)

9.30 pm - Return to Wharf 7, Pyrmont and Disembark.

- Special safety conditions apply for Children under 12 years old - please contact the office on 02 8204 3500

- Stilettos, sharp-heeled shoes and smoking onboard are strictly prohibited.

*Please be aware that the weather can change during the day. A windproof jacket is useful whatever the weather as it may be breezy and cold out on the water.

*Please note that due to the heritage nature of all our heritage vessels, they are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Access to toilets is by stairs to lower deck.
