# Let's break through communication walls and create connection, not conflict

Tired of the eye-rolls, shut doors, and one-word replies? You're not alone! Parenting teens can feel like decoding a secret language. This 2-hour interactive workshop will help you break through the silence and build real connection.

We’ll explore:

  • How to decode teen communication patterns — and respond effectively
  • A 5-step coaching approach from evidence parenting program - Tuning in to Teens
  • Techniques to reduce tension and boost positive behaviour
  • Expect activities, short videos, real-life examples, and even a quick quiz to help you better understand your teen… and yourself.

Session Info:

  • Run by a certified Tuning in to Teens facilitator with extensive experience working with young people and their families from diverse backgrounds and identities.
  • The session is developed based on the core strategies offered from Tuning in to Teens.
  • Best suited for: parents and carers of pre-teens and teens aged 9–18.
  • Capacity: limited to a maximum of 14 participants.
  • This is an adult-only session; no childcare services are provided.
