Tired of the eye-rolls, shut doors, and one-word replies? You're not alone! Parenting teens can feel like decoding a secret language. This 2-hour interactive workshop will help you break through the silence and build real connection.
We’ll explore:
- How to decode teen communication patterns — and respond effectively
- A 5-step coaching approach from evidence parenting program - Tuning in to Teens
- Techniques to reduce tension and boost positive behaviour
- Expect activities, short videos, real-life examples, and even a quick quiz to help you better understand your teen… and yourself.
Session Info:
- Run by a certified Tuning in to Teens facilitator with extensive experience working with young people and their families from diverse backgrounds and identities.
- The session is developed based on the core strategies offered from Tuning in to Teens.
- Best suited for: parents and carers of pre-teens and teens aged 9–18.
- Capacity: limited to a maximum of 14 participants.
- This is an adult-only session; no childcare services are provided.
