Talk | Transformations - the changing nature of the territory

The present environment of the Northern Territory has two separate climates ‒ one dominated by water during the ‘Wet’ season and one dominated by the unrelenting sun during the ‘Dry’ season.

Join Dr Richard Willan, Curator Emeritus of Molluscs, on International Museums Day to explore MAGNT’s best-loved permanent gallery, the Natural History Gallery.

Key Information

Register at the Information Desk in the foyer 15 minutes prior to the start of the program.

Talk starts at 11:00am in the Natural Science Gallery.

Participants must be able to remain standing for up to 60 minutes as there will be limited places to sit.

Food and drink is not permitted inside MAGNT's gallery spaces.

Please stow your snacks and drink bottles in a locker behind the Information Desk.

Large backpacks and bags must also be stowed.
