Taking Care of Carers with Megan Waters

Holiday Inn Warwick Farm by IHGWarwick Farm, NSW
Wednesday, Apr 15 from 2 pm to 4 pm
Overview

An afternoon of wellbeing, connection and community for carers.

Caring for someone else can be deeply meaningful, but it can also have its challenges. Taking time out, connecting with others who understand, and accessing helpful information close to home can make a real difference.

Wellways Carer Gateway is pleased to invite you to join us for afternoon tea with Megan Waters – media presenter, fitness instructor, and breathwork facilitator.

Megan is passionate about supporting mental and physical wellbeing. She’ll share practical strategies for self-care, mindfulness, and ways to reconnect with Country and community.

Megan is a very proud Warumungu and Yawuru woman from Larrakia Country in Darwin, where her deep connection to culture fuels her work. She believes our health – both physical and mental – is our most valuable asset and is dedicated to inspiring others to look after themselves.

What to expect:

  • Keynote presentation with Megan Waters
  • Discover Carer Gateway supports and services
  • Engaging Q&A session
  • Free afternoon tea and connection with other carers
