Take 3 For the Sea: Plastic Problem Workshop & Community Beach Clean Up
Overview
The plastic problem is a global crisis. It's killing wildlife, devastating our oceans and threatening the health of each other and our planet. But you have the power to make a difference! Join Port Stephens Council, NSW National Parks & Take 3 For The Sea for a one-hour Plastic Problem Workshop & a Community Beach Clean-Up and become part of the solution.
This event is more than just a clean-up, it's an opportunity to learn, connect and take meaningful action. You'll receive an educational briefing on the plastic pollution problem and its impact on the environment. We'll then work together to remove litter from Birubi Beach & Worrimi Conservation Lands. Your participation will not only help create a cleaner environment but also provide valuable data through our litter audit, helping us to understand the plastic problem and track our impact.
Take 3 For The Sea will porovide all the necessary equipment including gloves and bags, as well as a safety briefing.
Can't make the workshop but would love to help with the clean up? No worries! Book the clean-up ticket only, meet us at Birubi Beach at 10:15am, don your gloves and get cleaning with us!
