We believe that when good food and people come together, there’s potential to make a real difference. That’s why our story begins and ends with shared momentsin the garden, the kitchen, and around the table.For the last six years, Table has been providing a space for those from all walks of life to create, grow, cook and share together, through our range of social outreach projects at St Canice’s in Kings Cross.These projects include:Organic Soup Kitchen– Our hearts and bellies are nourished from the inside out. Each week, the homeless andmarginalisedcome to our soup kitchen to enjoy organic and pesticide-free food. All of our veggies are grown by our friends at Cana Farm, who use the growing of food as rehabilitation for the marginalised. Our meat is sourced by organic and sustainable butchers and partners since our conception Feather and Bone.Grow Program– Where connections flourish and the healing process begins. As a collaboration between us and St Vincent’s Hospital Mental Health Unit, this program consists of Horticultural Therapy classes and uses the growing of food as therapy for thosewith a lived experience of mental illness.Cooking School– There’s never been a more important time to understand the benefits and significance of good food. The Cooking School is dedicated to teaching youngmums & dadsin crisis accommodation the importance of nourishment. It’s about the many ways good food can do more than just feed our bodies and minds.Table Talks– This is our event series that aims to cultivate community and conversations. Beautifully curated and filled with delicious food, ticket sales go towards raising money for Table projects.

<P><SPAN>Food is much more than food. Join renowned chefs Mitch Orr, Christine Manfield, Pasi Petanen and Analiese Gregory for a meal that is far more than the great food on the plate. Go on a journey behind the meal with Jill Duplex and Elizabeth Farrelly. Enjoy food prepared with love, accompanied by art, entertainment and with music by Darren Percival & Linsey Pollack. We'll be using produce grown at Cana Farm and whole animals from organic and sustainable butcher Feather and Bone. We'll be serving fine wine, the best brews from Young Henrys, delicious organic teas, and that special something extra that happens when we gather to share good food.  </SPAN></P>
