Whether you're the partner of a current or former serving ADF member, a veteran spouse, parent, adult child or a widow of a veteran, we warmly invite defence and veteran families to join us for our wellbeing walk on Friday 6 March 2026.
Wellbeing walk
Location: Meet at Chinese Garden of Friendship, Pier Street Cnr Harbour Street, Darling Harbour NSW
Date and Time: Friday 6 March 2026, 10.30am - 12.30pm
Registrations: Open now. Registrations close 5 March
Cost: FREE for defence and veteran families
Can children attend: Children are welcome to participate, parent supervision required
What's included: Admission fee into the Chinese Garden of Friendship
Accessibility:
Pathways and pavilions in the lower garden are accessible for wheelchairs, buggies and prams; however steps and rocky pathways make the upper part of the Garden difficult to access. The closest passenger drop-off point to the garden is on Harbour Street.
Directions:
The Chinese Garden of Friendship is easily accessible by public transport, with light rail services stopping at Paddy’s Markets or Town Hall, both a short walk away. From Central Station, it’s a pleasant 15–20 minute walk through Chinatown and Darling Harbour. Meet FOV staff at the front entrance of the Chinese Garden of Friendship, located on the western side of the garden, opposite Fratelli Fresh Darling Harbour.
