Sydney TET Festival World Record Attempt
For the first time in Our History, the Vietnamese Community in Australia will be attempting Our First Guinness World Record on the Sunday.
The Nón Lá (the Vietnamese Conical Hat) is a proud embodiment of how the Vietnamese people hold a longstanding reputation as being extremely hardworking, both ancestorally and at present.
On the Sunday, we will attempt to best the record for the Largest Gathering of People Wearing the Vietnamese Nón Lá (Asian Conical Hat). It will be the finale of our three day festival and a great welcome to the new year. We would love for families and friends to come enjoy what will be a buzzing atmosphere while soaking in the surrounding fumes of festival delicacies.
Did we mention, Sunday would be the perfect day for SELFIES! Yes we are serious, we mentioned that we want the festival to be a social media hub - so we would love to see everyone posing together with their Nón Lá on or used as props. Also, there is a level of practicality of these Asian Conical Hats as Australian Februarys are known to be quite hot!
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
For the World Record Attempt, anyone under the age of 18 require a permission slip to be a part of our Official Guinness World Record!
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
