Question 1

Do I need any experience to do this class?

Accepted Answer

It's designed for ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS! You don't need any dance background or training to do this class. We've designed the class to be suitable for people who have never done a dance step in their lives. We believe SALSA is for everybody!

Question 2

Do I need to bring my own partner?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't - most people who come to the class don't bring a partner. We setup the class so that partners rotate every minute or two - everyone dances with everyone. A bonus benefit of this is that it's a great way to meet new friends!

Question 3

How long does it take to get good at Salsa?

Accepted Answer

It depends on several things, like previous experience in other dances, frequency, and intensity of training and practice, and natural abilities. Most absolute beginners do the Free Beginners class 2-3 times before moving up to the next level.

Question 4

How do I find the studio?

Accepted Answer

On Sundays we are located at: The Ridley Centre, 175 Great N Rd, Five Dock NSW 2046. Walk straight through and you will see our reception desk and classes :)

Question 5
