The Hills Public Speaking and Confidence Workshop will involve a 1-day workshop run by The Hills Toastmasters Club.
The purpose of the workshop is to equip youth in the Hills Shire Council with the skills to speak clearly and confidently presented in a fun and engaging way.
These public speaking skills can be applied in any aspect of life and helps for job interviews and future career pathways.
The workshop will cover a range of skills including, how to conduct yourself in an interview, how to speak confidently, how to present a speech, leadership skills, how to offer constructive evaluation and how to do an impromptu speech.
Organised by Sydney Hills Youth Ambassadors, and Certified Toastmasters from The Hills Toastmasters Club will equip young people aged 15-24 with skills that will benefit their career pathways and enable them to have a voice in the community.
