About this event

  • 2 hours

The Rocks, as Sydney's oldest suburb with all the heritage architecture, is a major tourist destination. However, if you are someone who loves to know more about the Sydney Harbour Foreshore, Barangaroo and the Rocks, come and join our two-hour walk where you will discover much more about Sydney's past, present and future!

Stroll with Stephen, your friendly tour leader through the hilly terrain and see how heritage and contemporary architecture co-exists in harmony. You will also witness the metamorphosis of the area into new residential, commercial, recreational and cultural uses of the 21st Century after the port facilities moved away in both Walsh Bay and Barangaroo.

Along the way you will see and hear about Foundation Park, The Rocks’ best kept secret and the ‘ghost houses’ sculpture which introduces an element of fantasy, inviting imaginative responses from visitors, giving it a unique 'secret garden' character.
