NOW 1 &amp; 2 MAYFollowing the postponement of the Trail in March due to the exterme weather conditions, it will now be held 1 &amp; 2 May. This is a community not-for-profit event with proceeds from ticket sales going towards local school and community gardens.The Sydney Edible Garden Trail is a self guided two day urban agricultural tour showcasing the many ways that Sydney residents are creating food security in the urban environment, saving money and the environment, while enjoying the health benefits of home grown fruit and veg. Backyard growers, large and small, primarily from areas north of the Parramatta River will open their gardens to the public on the weekend of 1 &amp; 2 May 2021, sharing their passion and knowledge to inspire self-reliance. Other gardeners will also be holding live virtual tours of their gardens. Tickets for this event will need to be purchased separately on eventbrite.PLEASE NOTE: If emerging COVID rules make it necessary to remove more than 50 % of the gardens from the Physical Trail, or postpone the event, tickets can be exchanged for a ticket to the rescheduled postponed event, the next virtual trail, or a refund can be claimed within 30 days of the event. Please note that Eventbrite’s fee is not refundable.
