Sydney Conscious Community - Live Music & Storytelling with Sonic Horizon

Join us for our January community gathering and enjoy some live music and storytelling with Sonic Horizon!

Join Sydney Conscious Community Group for our first gathering for 2026, bringing people together to Connect, Support and Collaborate. Since October 2024 we've been blessed with regular monthly community gatherings and welcome you to our next gathering!

With the support of the City of Sydney Council we are able to offer a free space for the conscious community to gather on a monthly basis (usually on the 3rd Thursday) with an optional donation to cover light snacks provided. We invite a special guest each time, from the community, to share their offerings in the space.

This month's special guest is Sonic Horizon featuring Joe Ramen (didgeridoo, harmonica, and mixed percussion), James Adcock (meditation guide and guitarist) and Victor Wu (mixed percussion, bamboo flute, sound effects). We wwerre blessed with Sonic Horizon as our special guests back in July and due to popular demand they will be back again!

Together, they craft immersive live music experiences that blend evocative soundscapes, and compelling storytelling to create the ideal atmosphere for meditation and mindfulness. Joe Ramen was one of our guest musicians at our first December gathering and we are thrilled to have him back with us as part of this incredible trio.

Meet your Hosts:

Maria Lambi

Maria is a Circle and Meditation Facilitator and has been hosting regular Soul Space Circles since 2017. Maria has also led meditation sessions in a corporate setting, both online and in person and is passionate about bringing people together, integrating over a decade of self-awareness modalities and practices. Maria is an International Best Selling Co-Author of the multi-author book Beyond Conditioning and a meditation teacher on Insight Timer. Maria enjoys being a volunteer Crisis Support Worker with Lifeline Australia since December 2023 and has recently been volunteering at Lifeline's Bondi beach Critical Response support hub, offering face to face support for the community. Maria is also a certified Life Coach in Neuro Transformation Therapy and offers 1:1 sessions.

A local aspiring hippy specialising in didgeridoo, crystal bowl and shamanic drum he plays at various conscious events, festivals, jams and ceremonies.
