About the speaker:
Tristan King is a Sport Physiotherapist with over 10 years’ experience using EMS Shockwave Therapy. After completing a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy, Tristan has had exposure to a number of elite sporting environments including AFL, Basketball, gymnastics and athletics.
His focus is on an exercise and load management approach to rehabilitation, injury prevention and ultimately performance training. Tristan’s interests include:
- Improving or restoring function for elite level sport
- Arthritis management
- Management of back pathology and persistent pain
- Preparation and recovery for a medical intervention such as surgery or injection therapy
Tristan has undergone high performance mentorships with EXOS (athletes’ performance) involving absolute speed, acceleration and multidirectional speed biomechanics and training, High Performance Preparation with Basketball Victoria, AFL Coaching Courses and Sports Training courses with Sport Medicine Australia.
