Welcome swirl-gals, and swirl-guys to our first ever Swirl Club in Singapore!

Swirl Club; Toby's Estate x Slayer barista smackdown series where we play with coffee, we drink beers and we talk smack about coffee and anything else you wanna talk about. We'll also have limited edition coffees you can only get at Swirl Club (edgy hey).

A latte art smackdown with four unique fields to duke it out over, drawn for each head to head match up.

Prizes

1st Place: $2K SGD, Swirl Club Coffee 'THUG PASSION', Swirl Club Hat, Swirl Club Tote + other goodies from our sponsors. The winner will be featured on Toby's & Slayer's social.

Competition Rules

• There are 16 competitors
• Competing pairs are chosen at random via picking their polaroids from a hat

Round 1: Roll Of The Dice

• The 1st round is almond milk & oat milk only, courtesy of Alternative Dairy Co, one of our sponsors
• There are 3 dice to roll: one for latte art, one for the type of milk, one for the vessel the competing pair will pour in
• Each competing pair will do scissors, paper, rock, winner gets to pick which side they’d like to steam
• Competitors will steam their own milk, a double ristretto shot will be pulled by Swirl Club staff
• Competitors must place their cups on the bench to the right
• 16 competitors compete, 8 competitors move on to the next round

Round 2: Tulip Stack

• Head-to head who can pour the most tulip stacks in one go
• One cup, one jug, any spillage, you’re out
• 8 competitors compete, 4 competitors move on to the next round

Round 3: Froth Monster

• Pour 6 piccolos. One large jug to steam. One chance to steam and an optional second jug to split the milk
• Contestants must fill the piccolo cups up to the prescribed line. Each cup will be scored. For every millimeter below or above the line, there will be a point deduction. Highest score overall wins
• This round will only be judged on foam level, latte art etc won't be taken into consideration
• 4 compete, 2 losers go through to round 4 to determine 3rd and 4th place. 2 winners compete for 1st and 2nd in the final round

Round 4: Latte Art Smackdown

• Free-pour. Best design and execution wins
• This round will determine 3rd and 4th place

Final Round: Latte Art Smackdown

Another free-pour round. Best design and execution wins the whole thing!
