Sustainable Living: Nature Journalling

About this Event

Take some time out in nature and be inspired with the calming practise of nature journalling. Join a short stroll in and learn the basics, slow down, engage your senses, and take the time to observe and record what you see, hear, and feel. Nature journalling can be a wonderful form of meditative expression.

Please bring your own art materials: unlined A4 sketchpad/notebook, HB and 2B pencils, and any other materials you’d like to use. You might like to bring a stool, cushion, or picnic blanket to sit comfortably outdoors. After the workshop feel free to visit the Environment Centre or remain in the forest to continue with your project.

Bookings: Bookings required via Eventbrite. All adults and children must be booked in as participants for this event. Please arrive ten minutes early. If you cannot attend this event, cancel your bookings online via Eventbrite to open up the waitlist for others

Age: Strictly for adults and children aged 6 years and over.

Cost: Free.

Requirements: Please bring your own art basic materials. All children must be 6 years and over and accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: outdoor activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day. Please arrive ten minutes early.
