About this event

Facilitated by Neil Plummer, Fabian Sack and Jo Plummer, this masterclass is designed for those who wish to stay on top of their game and seek a practical understanding of how to help your enterprise to prosper through supporting key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In doing so, organisations will be better placed to capture growing opportunities and mitigate emerging risks and regulation.

Sustainable Leadership to 2030 will equip you with practical tools and methodologies applicable to any business (large or small, product or service orientated) and enable you to:

• Understand the drivers and impacts of the climate, energy and the circular economy transition.

• Identify physical and transitional opportunities, risks and implement optimum responses, on a range of meaningful timescales.

• Develop and present a credible case for change, including recommendations on an integrated response to strategy, management and reporting to your senior executive.

Masterclass Structure:

The masterclass includes 4 x 3 hour live webinars

Pre-class requirement

You are required to complete an online diagnostic survey for your business (or one of your choice) that will allow you to rate:

• How well the organisation is positioned for the climate, energy, and circular economy transition?

• Their strengths and weaknesses over a range of factors considered important for the transition.

Followed with a written executive summary (500-800 words) highlighting key strengths, weaknesses and their overall reflection from completing the survey.

Following the masterclass, you'll be required to submit a short reflection (500-800 words) on how you will leverage 'Sustainable Leadership to 2030' learnings to progress your organisation's (or one of your choice) prosperity and career development.

You are required to write a short reflection (500-800 words) on how you will leverage ‘Sustainable Leadership to 2030’ learnings to progress your organisation’s (or one of your choice) prosperity and career development.

Refund policy

If your plans change, let us know 30 days beforehand for a full refund. Cancellations received within 30 days but at least 10 days out from the Masterclass commencing will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 10 days of the Masterclass commencing will receive no refund.

Deakin University may cancel a microcredential for administrative reasons; if so, you will be provided with a full refund.

Can my employer sponsor my fees?

If your employer wants to sponsor your fees you can pay for fees yourself and request reimbursement from your company, you can use a company credit card for payment or if an invoice is required please contact stackablelearning@deakin.edu.au

Do I become a student of Deakin University?

You will become a microcredential learner of Deakin University. You will be enrolled, receive a Student ID and gain access to student systems and support during your study. As a part of the Deakin community, you will be required to accept the Terms&Conditions of a microcredential learner.

What discounts are available?

What do I need to validate my eligibility for a discount?

If you register for an Alumni or Staff discounted ticket, you'll need to provide requested details to validate (see tickets for more information). If your status cannot be validated in 7 days you will be removed from the course until you can validate or pay the outstanding amount.

Can I pay in Instalments?

Yes, PayPal offers the ability to pay over four instalments. Follow the additional prompts at payment and ensure the terms and conditions of payment are right for you.
