The Jean Monnet Sustainable Development Goals Network continues its 2020 program with an exploration of Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action. SDG 13 aims to ‘take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts'. What does this mean, and how will this be achieved? What projects are already underway to deliver on this goal?
Each seminar will be accompanied by a Policy Brief, further exploring the ideas and issues raised during the discussion.
Panellists include:
- Professor Ralph Horne
Professor of Geography and Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor, Research and Innovation for the College of Design and Social Context at RMIT University.
- Associate Professor Lauren Rickards
Co-leader of the Climate Change and Resilience research program of the Centre for Urban Research and Senior Lecturer in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies at RMIT.
- Krista Milne
Co-Director Climate Change Action Branch Strategy, Planning and Climate Change at City of Melbourne
- Michael Anderson
