This talk will provide two examples for the game-based teaching practices that Senior Lecturer Amgad Rezk uses to improve student engagement and participation. Including the use of fun quiz-style web-based online game with a running leader board and end of semester awards and a peer-review conducted in a game-like environment through live voting sessions. This talk is intended for educators exploring new ideas to increase student engagement.
