Supporting the Cancer Patient with their Oral Health Care

Central Integrated Regional Cancer Service (CIRCS) is facilitating a one day seminar for Oral Health Therapists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Allied Health Professionals and Nurses with a focus on head and neck cancer treatments. Speakers will be presenting on a range of topics including;
- Major head and neck surgery and its effects on patients
- Overview of radiotherapy
- Dental friendly foods for head and neck patients
- Unmet treatment needs for head and neck cancer patients
- Lymphoedema for head and neck cancer patients
- A patients perspective
- Drugs that affect bone healing
QLD Health Staff: Free
External to QLD Health: $220pp
6 CPD hours and an attendance certificate will be issue

What are my parking options for this event?
Wilson parking on Herston road offer discounted parking for attendees. Please bring your ticket to the registration table for stamping. (Not all car parks at the RBWH use this offer. Please make sure you are parking in the right one. Map to be provided prior to the forum)
What is the refund policy? Is my registration/ticket transferable?
Your ticket is non-refundable, although it is completely transferable. Please contact the CIRCS team on 3131 1690 or CIRCS@health.qld.gov.au to advise new ticket holder name.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. If you have significant allergies, please provide your own food as dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed.
