Superb Fairy Wren Thread Painting With Emily Tull

The male superb fairy wren is a common sight in the Otways and loved for its stunning blue plumage.

If you have ever wanted to study this delightful bird closer this is the workshop series for you! At this two day workshop you will create your very own stitched fairy wren masterpiece on fabric of your choosing.

This class will be taught by Emily Tull, renowned textile artist from the UK, a self taught stitcher with fine art training. She will take you from the basics of drawing with stitch to adding texture and blending.

This 2 day workshop is suitable for any level of experience is welcome. Bring your own threads and scraps of material however Emily will have some available and a materials list will be sent to those booked into the workshop closer to the date.

An optional materials kit may be purchased for $12.
