Registrations for the much anticipated Sunshine Coast University Hospital Community Tour Day are now fully booked, and we take this opportunity to acknowledge our community’s strong support for this special event.

Before the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) becomes fully operational the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service would like to showcase this exceptional facility and the Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI) to the local community.
Register for your sneak-peek tour:
A 30-minute pre-registered FREE guided tour will be provided on the day, with tours running at regular intervals between 10.00am and 3.00pm. The tours will follow set paths and are not intended to be a fully comprehensive tour, however are a sneak peek into the main areas that will benefit the community once the hospital is operational. These departments include the Adem Crosby Centre, Womens and Families Services, Emergency Department and Outpatients (please note, not all areas are covered in one tour due to time restrictions). To avoid disappointment on the day, it is imperative that you bring proof of your booking with you, as tour entry will be restricted to ticket holders only.
Other activities available on the day?
Other interactive activities will be available on the day for the whole family plus food and refreshments for purchase and other key information relating to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital key services.
Parking on the day is FREE and will be available in the multi-deck P1 carpark located adjacent to the main hospital building (refer to the map below). The Sunshine Coast University Hospital bus station is located next to SCHI with Translink adding additional bus services on the day. To avoid disappointment on the day, tours must be booked online, with proof of booking brought along to the hospital on Saturday 25 February.
The Sunshine Coast University Hospital tours are 30 minutes in length and cover a large distance over a short period of time and therefore are not recommended for people with mobility and medical issues.
Comfortable shoes are also recommended.
Please ensure you bring proof of registration to the Main Entry of the main hospital building. No ticket, No entry.
Please pay careful attention to your registered tour time and ensure you arrive five minutes prior to commencement. You will not be admitted earlier or later due to the high-volume of attendees.
