Description

The Sunshine Coast and Gympie region, like many other communities, has been touched by suicide. Regardless of statistics, any one suicide is too many.

Our PHN has joined with community partners to better understand how we can reduce and prevent suicide within our community through a united approach based on the evidence of what works.

In a dynamic program, we will hear from guest speaker Rachel Green from the Black Dog Institute who will discuss the Life Span framework. Other special guest speakers include StandBy Response Service, Gympie Suicide Prevention Network, Hinterland Suicide Prevention Network and Roses in the Ocean.

The afternoon session will take the form of a hands-on, interactive table discussion where actionable plans will be created.

Catering provided.
