Event description
An innovative new dance performance, part of the MoveMe Festival, will play out in the Sunset Heritage Precinct by the Swan River.

About this Event

Maxine Doyle is one half of the visionary leadership of UK based dance-theatre company Punchdrunk, who are pioneers in site based performances the world over. They design large scale, immersive experiences for promenading audiences. “The Drowned Man” and “Sleep No More” are now cited as some of the most attended and critically lauded performances in recent history with “Sleep No More” now operating as a permanent tourist attraction for the cities of New York and Shanghai.

In partnership with Perth Festival 2019 and TURA New Music, this innovative new performance will play out in the Sunset Heritage Precinct by the Swan River, using the site’s history as Claremont Old Men's Home as a main narrative resource.

The MOVEME showing of Sunset will give audiences an exciting opportunity to witness the evolution of a new work created by a world leader here at home.
