Sunday Session: Flower Crown Workshop
Learn how to design and make your own gorgeous flower crown using fresh seasonal blooms and foliage.
Join us for a relaxed floral workshop where you’ll learn how to turn fresh seasonal blooms and foliage into a gorgeous handmade flower crown. Enjoy the process as you’re guided through each step of the design by floral artist Cheryl Johnson.
Whether you come solo, with friends, or bring someone special in your life (must be 12+), this workshop is a lovely opportunity to connect, unwind, and share a creative moment side‑by‑side. No experience is needed — just bring your curiosity and leave with a gorgeous handmade crown.
Details:
- When: 1pm - 3pm, Sunday 17th May.
- All materials provided.
- Tickets: $45 + booking fee, Lake Mac Arts Member $40.50 + booking fee
- Light refreshments provided.
- Food and beverage options available to purchase the MAC bar.
About the venue: Museum of Art and Culture, yapang (MAC yapang)
The Museum of Art and Culture (MAC yapang) is located at the end of First Street, Booragul, on the edge of Lake Macquarie. MAC has ramp access for wheelchairs and prams, baby changing facilities and accessible toilets.
MAC yapang can be reached easily from the lake foreshore cycleway, the water, or by public transport. There is parking for cars, and buses with accessible spaces available, onsite and adjacent to the Hunter Rowing Club.
This event may be photographed and filmed and your image could be used in advertising and promotion by Lake Macquarie City Council. Should you wish to not be photographed or filmed please advise event organisers on entry at the event.
