Aquatic, Summer fun for the whole family

Join us this January for Summer Splash, a family-friendly event celebrating all things Summer and swimming! Enjoy music, slushies, a mermaid meet and greet, a colouring competition, and aquatic fun at the Doug Ellis Swimming Pool.

• Photography is allowed at this event, but only for capturing photos or videos of your guests and family members. Monash Sport staff will be present to ensure this policy is followed.

Who can attend?

Everyone is welcome to attend! Please ensure you register via Eventbrite.

How much is it to attend this event?

Our standard entry fees apply. Casual visitor prices can be found here. Entry is free for those who are enrolled in swimming lessons (LTS and HISP) or have a Monash Sport Aquatics membership.

Is there an event schedule?

The event will run from 4pm to 7pm. Our Mermaid meet & greet will be 4pm - 6pm with Marianna The Mermaid swimming show to follow at 6:15pm in the Variable Pool!

Is this event suitable for children?

Children are very welcome to attend this event.

Please make sure you are aware of our Watch Around Water program for children under the age of 5 years and children under the age of 10.

What can I wear?

For safety reasons, if you intend on swimming at this event, appropriate swimwear must be worn as part of our condition on entry.

How do I get to the Doug Ellis Swimming Pool?

Car parking is available on campus. The closest car park to the Doug Ellis swimming pool is the southeast car park, highlighted pink on the university parking map.
