Bamboo Entwine as they Grow
In this two-part exhibition, artists Tiyan Baker, Cindy Yuen-Zhe Chen and Sarah Ong come together to explore themes of labour, cultural roots and resilience through their respective contemporary practices and their creative use of bamboo, a plant with deep spiritual and emotional significance for many people across Australia. Beyond the Dot
Beyond the Dot – highlights from the yapang collection pays homage to this growing collection of artworks held onsite and of the commitment to contemporary Aboriginal art, to the people behind the artworks and to the audiences receiving them. Read more.
Lucas Davidson: Inner Reserve
In Inner Reserve, artist Lucas Davidson uses photographic sampling to capture the Lake Macquarie region, including its water, land, and sky. His work highlights the distinctive light and colour unique to the area. Read more

Now in its third year, Off the Wall is a celebration of the wealth of artistic talent in the Lake Macquarie and Hunter regions. Read more

MAC bar offers Ernest Hill wine, local craft beer and non-alcoholic drinks from 6 -7:30pm. Eftpos only.
Light snacks are available for purchase during the event.

Please follow directional signage and make use of overflow parking locations. Note you will have to walk a short to medium distance, please plan and time your visit accordingly.
Note: Disabled car spaces only are located next to MAC yapang via the vehicle access road.

This celebration is a free event and open to the public. Please register your attendance to assist our team. Please note there is no need to print your tickets for this event.
