Our Summer Day Retreat on February 25th 2017 may be just the thing!
We are delighted to have Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction expert Christine Hiltner as our guest speaker for the day, joining us at the beautiful Highfield House in Stanley.
Learn how mindfulness and meditation can help enrich your life and your relationships and improve your health and well-being.
Self-compassion involves offering kindness towards yourself when you are having a difficult time, fail, or notice something you don’t like about yourself.
Instead of judging and criticising yourself for various inadequacies, self-compassion means you are understanding when confronted with personal failings – after all, who ever said you were supposed to be perfect?

This day is suitable even if you have no previous meditation, yoga or Pilates experience. A seasonal vegan lunch, delicious raw snacks and refreshing tea blends will be served.
