ACA NSW Quickies (training) are less than 2 hours long and held throughout the year via live webinars, in-person and video-on-demand formats.
Quickies are primarily for Approved Providers, owners/directors and Nominated Supervisors with sector-specific information, advice, tips and even “tricks”.
The topics to be covered in the Succession Planning for Approved Providers are:
- Is your service ready for transition/transfer/exit?
- What are your family/shareholders’ objectives?
- Is your service at risk of not being able to operate without you?
- Is your service’s financial state at its best possible now or in the near future?
- What are the different ownership/control options available?
- Have you planned for life after?
This Quickie will enable you to better understand your service’s readiness (both structurally as well as financially), your and your service’s future options as well as what you should consider to ensure your service’s maximum future success.

Tamara Brown is a Partner in PwC’s Private Clients practice with over 20 years of experience working with privately-owned groups to help them grow and realise value. In recent years, Tamara has led the firm’s childcare practice - presenting at many key child care seminars with respect to strategy, growth and benchmarking as well personally acting for a number of childcare groups across Australia.
Jade Dixon has over 15 years’ experience from time in the industry and as a Partner in PwC's Private Clients. During her time in the industry, Jade was CFO for a private equity-backed group with investments in both property and hospitality assets. Jade now leads the Australian Firm's Outsourced CFO team bringing extensive commercial experience and technical knowledge to the team. Jade currently provides outsourced accounting and taxation services to a number of clients including childcare and not-for-profits.
