About this event

This FREE session is perfect for those who want to learn more about the Australian workplace culture.

This session is delivered by Lisa Laing. Lisa has over 15 years' experience as a career counsellor within community services, university, TAFE and in private practice. She has a Bachelor of Psychology, training in psychotherapy and is a qualified career consultant. She has a passion for inspiring hope and stimulating higher aspirations for education and work. Her expertise involves career counselling, coaching clients for job interview success, providing up-to-date job search advice and helping clients create resumes and cover letters that get results. She currently works at MSCWA and feels privileged to assist migrants and refugees of all ages.

Topics covered in the session include;

• Find out what is acceptable and not acceptable in the Australian workplace culture

• Find out the key skills for success, known as employability skills that employers value
