Implant verification - necessity or legacy practice?

This will be Dr. Aaron Wong’s FIRST Study Club!

We are pleased to invite you to an educational event focused on implant verification in contemporary prosthodontic practice, a topic of growing relevance in everyday clinical workflows.

This session will explore when implant verification meaningfully reduces misfit and when its clinical value may be limited, helping clinicians make informed, evidence-based decisions. Conventional, hybrid digital, and fully digital verification strategies will be reviewed and compared, with a strong emphasis on their practical clinical application.

Participants will gain clear, take-home guidance on if, when, and how to incorporate implant verification into daily practice, supporting more predictable and efficient treatment outcomes.

The session is grounded in current scientific evidence and will also highlight key insights from a recent ADJ publication, authored in collaboration with Adam Hamilton, offering an up-to-date and critical perspective on implant verification.
