StrokeSafe Talk by Stoke Foundation
StrokeSafe volunteers deliver life-saving messages about stroke.
Many Speakers have experienced a stroke themselves or are close to someone who has. They present information about stroke, and also draw on their own personal experiences. Every talk is unique and memorable.
Topics covered:
• What stroke is – What happens when someone is having a stroke and the different types of stroke.
• How to recognise the signs of stroke – Learn the vital F.A.S.T. signs of stroke.
• What to do during a stroke emergency – Knowing when to call triple zero (000).
• How to reduce your risk of stroke – Understand and reduce the risk of stroke.
This will be an online talk, the speaker will ‘dial-in’.
