Stroboscopic Light Therapy – Expanded State Experience | Sydney
Stroboscopic Light Therapy is a light immersion using safe rhythmic flickering light patterns to support expanded states of consciousness
What Is Stroboscopic Light Therapy?
Stroboscopic Light Therapy is a guided light and sound immersion using safe, rhythmic flickering light patterns to support expanded states of consciousness, naturally.
With eyes closed, the light gently stimulates the visual cortex, often creating:
• Geometric patterns and flowing imagery
• Deep nervous system relaxation
• Dreamlike internal landscapes
• Emotional release
• Heightened clarity and insight
• Access to meditative depth
Many people describe it as entering a psychedelic-like state, without ingesting anything.
This is a nervous-system-based experience.

The Science Behind Stroboscopic Light Therapy
Stroboscopic Light Therapy works through a process known as brainwave entrainment — where rhythmic light paired with sound gently encourages the brain to shift into specific states.
With eyes closed, the visual system can generate vivid internal imagery — colours, geometry, movement, and immersive inner visuals. At the same time, many people report feeling calmer, more focused, or deeply “dropped in.”
This technology builds on a long history of rhythm and light being used to shift consciousness, from ancient drumming traditions to meditative trance practices.
Stroboscopic light immersion offers a safe, substance-free pathway into expanded states, creative flow, deep relaxation, and meditative absorption
Facilitator
Pete Volos is a Somatic Healer & Light Therapy Facilitator and founder of Psychegetics. His work bridges nervous system regulation, expanded states of consciousness, and body-based trauma integration.
Pete’s journey into altered states began through meditation, breathwork, and deep somatic inquiry. After years exploring embodied and expanded awareness practices, he became deeply interested in non-substance pathways into visionary states — particularly stroboscopic light immersion.
Through personal exploration and facilitation, Pete discovered that rhythmic light stimulation can access profound inner imagery, emotional release, and meditative depth — without ingestion. What stood out most was not just the visuals, but how the body responded: tension softening, breath deepening, and unconscious material surfacing safely when the nervous system feels supported.
His approach to Stroboscopic Light Therapy is grounded, trauma-aware, and body-first — focused on safety, containment, and integration rather than intensity.
