Discover the beauty of Japanese traditions through kamishibai, the enchanting art of picture-card storytelling, inspired by Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day) and Kodomo no Hi (Children’s Day). Enjoy this cultural experience accompanied by the delicate, melodic sounds of the koto, a traditional Japanese string instrument, performed live.
Let’s sing together, listen to the music and enjoy the experience – with opportunities for children to try playing the koto.
Performed in Japanese with short English notes for context.
Suitable for children aged 5+ years.
