Story Dogs at Rosny Library

Read your favourite stories to a gentle, happy dog! StoryDogs brings friendly pups to help kids relax, have fun, and grow confident reading.

This reading session aims to help children relax, open up and have fun while reading to a calm and friendly dog. StoryDogs is a reading support program where trained volunteers and accredited dogs listen to primary school children reading.

As part of Tasmania Reads, at Rosny Library, book a session to read to one of the dogs.

Individual readings sessions are 20 minutes for one child. Ages 5-12

Bookings required.

To help make a successful event:

• Don't come if you're unwell
• Let us know if you can't come - we'll cancel your booking so others can register instead.
• By registering for a Libraries Tasmania event, you agree to follow our policies – including the Responsible Conduct Policy and Safeguarding Children Policy. Thank you for helping keep our spaces safe and respectful for everyone.
