Steph Tisdell hasn’t performed a full stand-up show in four years. Since you last saw her on stage she’s been working out, literally. Getting fit, getting healthy and training to run a marathon. Now she needs to run some jokes by you. 

Before she hits the ground running with her new show, Steph is getting back on stage to work out which new material works and which doesn’t. This is your chance to see one of Australia’s most dynamic performers build a stand-up show in real time, testing new jokes to see which ones make it to the finish line. 

She’s gone from smashing avos to smashing personal-best run times, and from writing jokes in her head while running to seeing which ones actually get laughs from an audience. 

Steph Tisdell is a proud Ydinji woman and an award winning comedian, actor and writer. This is not a finished show, it’s Steph working out and working it out, because it’s just as much about the journey as it is the destination.
