About This Event:
Join us for another exciting series of STEM After School hands-on discovery activities. Each week we will be covering a different scientific theme and undertaking investigations and constructions.
Wednesday 4 March 2026 | Marble Run
Challenge yourself in our marble-ous marble run, using household items and recycled materials to race your marble against the clock.
Cost: Free
Age: 8-12 years old
Experience: None required
Equipment: All materials provided.
About the Facilitator:
Children's Discovery create opportunities for children and their families to engage in life-long learning experiences. Our work is backed by research showing how early interventions, that spark imagination, build children's confidence, communication, collaboration, creativity and a can-do attitude.

Terms and conditions:
- For participants aged 10 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program. For safety reasons, one parent/guardian can only be responsible for a maximum of 4 children (1:4 ratio).
- For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
- The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
