STEAM SQUAD | 3D Pen Workshop | Ages 10yrs+

Join our hands-on introductory workshop where children aged 10+ learn to use 3D pens and create 3D designs!

Join us at West Ryde Library for an introductory hands-on workshop where children, aged 10 years+ will learn to use 3D pens to create simple 3D designs.

Children will:

• learn how to safely use a 3D pen and understand the basic techniques of 3D drawing
• practice a few simple drills with the 3D pen covering steps like speed control, anchoring before creating a variety of simple 3D objects, shapes or writings
• develop creativity, design thinking and problem-solving skills

No experience necessary.

Steam Squad is West Ryde Library's childrens program with the aim to promote and provide accessible STEAM related activities to children in our community and instil a love and curiosity for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
