The future of work is now. The proliferation of automation and artificial intelligence technologies alongside the growth in the platform economy and the take up of remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the way Australians work and live.
Drawing on unique survey data, this event launches the State of the Future of Work, an inaugural report that examines the impact of the future of work on Australians’ lives. The report will highlight the use and impact of flexible, hybrid work, changing work conditions and their impact on health and well-being.
The report has been produced by the Work Futures Hallmark Research Initiative, an interdisciplinary team of researchers from across The University of Melbourne.
The event will be introduced by the University of Melbourne’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) and will feature short presentations from some of our research team on the findings of our report. There will be plenty of time for networking as we’re keen to hear your thoughts and build new partnerships. A light lunch will also be provided.
We hope you’ll be able to join us for this event and look forward to seeing you!
