Our team, led by experienced venture capital and angel investor Nick McNaughton will take you through a half day of intensive learning on how investor termsheets work, how to negotiate the right deal with them, and startup valuation.
The startup valuation workshop uses a range of techniques to challenge a founder to identify a defensible valuation for prospective investors. We play ‘Startup Monopoly’ as an ice-breaker.
We move onto a self reflection: What is your start-up worth? We then move through several formal start-up valuation methodologies. You will come out of the workshop with a defensible valuation range for your start-up. We also do a deep dive into SAFE & Convertible Notes and consider their Pros & Cons
This is a key learning experience for anyone contemplating raising capital from angel or venture investors. It is also valuable for angel investors - even experienced investors have found it valuable.
