Start Talking workshop 2: Confident Communication & Cultural Understanding
Confidence is a state of mind coming from feelings of well-being, acceptance of your body and mind, also known as self-esteem and belief in your own ability, skills and experience.
Developed on the foundation of the first workshop, the second session will start with deeper development of emotional ability to convey messages with verbal and non-verbal languages.
Confidence is demonstrated not only via words, messages and knowledge and competence of the subject but also mainly through body languages including facial expressions, para-language or aspects of the voice apart from speech, personal space, posture display, eye contact and body movements.
As non-verbal communication can be very culture-specific, one of the main topics during this session will be cultural awareness, beliefs and perception and gaining better understanding.
