Start School Strong – Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and fee relief in NSW

Start School Strong is offering this information session for mums, dads, carers and grandparents with children up to the age of 6 years.

There are many skills children need to learn before starting school, according to Kindergarten teachers, one important skill is self-regulation.


Kerry Lee, Transition Support and Early Intervention Teacher will present:


• What is self-regulation and social-emotional development emotional intelligence and self-regulation

• Important skills for mental health and happiness to a smooth transition to school through the lens of a young child

• How to be prepared to navigate the challenges of school

• School-readiness in a holistic view of the child

• Tools to help support your child to self-regulate
