Start School Strong - My children are driving me wild! What can I do?

You’re desperately trying to manage your distress using only the methods you know, but they're not working. Instead, it's only making things worse - heightening tension and impulsive behaviour, leading to power struggles.

A thoughtful way to manage this always starts with pausing and thinking, "How do I want to handle this?"

Start School Strong is offering this information session for mums, dads, carers and grandparents with children up to 6 years old.

Bruce Chan, Counsellor and Parent Educator, will present:

• Parenting can be stressful. Are you prepared?
• How to develop positive thoughts and attitudes when we see behaviour we don’t like
• What can you do to help support your child?

Vietnamese, Khmer and Arabic interpreters can be arranged for you. Please let us know by email or phone if you would like an interpreter after you register.

Interpreters will need to be booked at least one week before the session.
