An orphan boy Peter and his mysterious new friend, Molly, overcome pirates in their quest to keep a fantastical secret safe from harm.

Year 9 Drama students perform their major assessment piece for the semester. Peter and the Starcatcher is a prequel to Peter Pan that tells the story of how a nameless orphan boy became Peter Pan. He and other orphans are forced onto a ship called the Never Land, where they meet Molly, a young apprentice "starcatcher," and become entangled in a plot to protect a trunk of magical "starstuff" from the villainous pirate Black Stache. The adventure takes them from England across the sea to a faraway island, where they encounter dangers and learn about friendship, responsibility, and the magic of the starstuff.Our Year 9s have worked hard across the semester to create a swift and beautiful abridged version of this marvellous play - for one night only.
