Description

Stakeholder Engagement explores a variety of practical strategies and systems for implementing and promoting stakeholder engagement in public sector initiatives.

The program aims to provide you with a better understanding of:

  • The principles of stakeholder engagement

  • The importance of good relationships in engagement activities

  • How to develop your own simple engagement plan for an actual project, including the following key components: Analysing the stakeholders and their needs

  1. Setting clear SMART objectives for your engagement

  2. Determining the level of engagement

  3. Selecting appropriate engagement methods

  4. Developing key messages

  5. Undertaking risk analysis

  6. Developing a plan that sets out the timeframes, responsibilities and resources

  7. Evaluating your engagement plan

  8. Drafting a report

  • How to use the templates and how they can be adapted to suit your own needs

    The training will be targeted to align with the new HCRM for EPI staff.
