Dates: The Creative Catalyst Spring Vacation Program will run from Monday 28th of September until Friday 9th October.
Schedule: Doors open 8:30 for a 9am start. Class finishes by 5pm, doors close 6:00pm
Healthy morning & afternoon teas are provided. Please BYO lunch, water bottle, sun hat & art making clothes.

Monday 28th September: Birdbaths - ceramics
Create a great big, beautiful birdbath to welcome all the birds to your backyard. Keep them safe and happy with your hand crafted ceramic water bowl. Clay is a natural, non toxic and lovely material to work with allowing both functional and sculptural elements to be explored. We will have a range of moulds to work from. All work will be glazed and fired in a kiln.

Tuesday 29th September: Cold Blooded Creatures - Ceramics
Australia is home to about 14% of the world’s reptilian population and has some of the largest known snake and lizard fossils in the world! All reptiles are cold-blooded, have scales and reproduce either by laying eggs or giving birth to live young. Some reptiles are aquatic animals, although most live on land. In this workshop we will be stepping into the world of cold blooded creatures and creating them in clay! All work will be glazed and fired in a kiln.

Wednesday 30th September: Bioluminescent Painting - painting & drawing
Bioluminescence is the production of light from a living organism through a chemical reaction. It can be found in mushrooms, algae, plants and even animals! In this workshop we will be creating an eye catching and luminescent painting, capturing some of nature's mysterious glowing animals & plants. From glowing mushrooms in the forest to bioluminescent fish deep in the ocean, learn painting and drawing techniques to capture their magic and the light they emanate on paper.
