Founded in 2017, the purpose of Spread Goodness Day is to inspire individuals, schools, and organizations to spread goodness together in their communities and on a global scale. To celebrate goodness together and show the absolute proof we can change the world in just one day.
While every day is a good day to spread goodness, by celebrating together our individual efforts, multiplied by hundreds, thousands, even millions, have the power to change the world in unexpected ways. Did you know that performing acts of kindness, or even just witnessing kindness, creates oxytocin, endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine. You can provide literal healing, happiness, and love to everyone around you, We’re not just changing the world together, we are healing it!
🎣 Fishcare's FREE 'Come and Try Fishing' Days - Open to All! 🎣
Whether you're a first-time fisher or a seasoned angler, Fishcare's 'Come and Try Fishing' days welcome everyone to experience the joys of fishing while learning sustainable angling practices! Supported by our dedicated Fishcare Victoria staff and volunteers, each session provides a hands-on fishing experience tailored for all ages, skill levels and abilities.
🌟 What You’ll Enjoy:
- A 60-minute fishing experience that covers Victorian fishing rules and regulations
- Guidance on sustainable fishing techniques
- Opportunities to catch a fish with all equipment provided, including rods, tackle, and bait
- 'Fortune fish' - Take a dip into our fish pond and find out what kind of goodness your future holds!
- Dress Code: An invitiation to wear all things that spark joy! Whilst the usual color of SGD is yellow, we encourage you to wear an outfit that makes you feel your most happy and comfortable! Please ensure you are still wearing enclosed footwear and being sun smart.
- All covered under a group fishing licence - it’s FREE!

Bookings are essential. These popular sessions have limited spots, so book early to secure your place.
If you’re unable to attend, kindly cancel through Eventbrite to free up a spot for someone else.
