About the workshop

Learn the hand-carving techniques to create unique wooden spoons with experienced furniture maker and wood carver, Carol Russell.

Suitable for beginners, this workshop is an introduction to working with quality carving tools and timber. You’ll learn basic carving techniques, tool sharpening and timber finishing.

About Carol

Carol has over 25 years’ experience as a furniture maker, antique restorer and teacher. Carol’s on-going love for timber recently led her to hand carving smaller objects like wooden spoons and knifes, wooden vessels and milking stools. Carol’s stunning work has been exhibited widely, including in Artisan's Marketplace exhibition curated by Melinda Gagen.


Workshop Cancellation Policy

Please note that if minimum numbers are not reached this workshop will be cancelled. Participants will be notified of cancellation a week prior to the workshop date and refunded accordingly.

Participant Cancellation Policy

Bookings cancelled up to one week prior to the start of the workshop will be fully refunded.

Bookings cancelled within a week prior to the start of the workshop will receive a 50% refund.
